How To Cook Brats On The Stove Easy Steps




If you really want brats but outside the season grilling,  you do not have to suffer nor do you have to go to a restaurant. You only need a stove and some brats, and you're just a skillet away from the snap of a juicy brat. The best way to cook brats over the stove is cooking them all the way through with liquid before they burn the outside by roasting in oil.This prevents them from burning on the outside while they are still raw on the inside.

Step1


Open brats and drain the fluids that may pass.


Step 2



Place the brats in a skillet / saucepan so each sausage touches the bottom of the pan.


Step 3


Pour 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil over the top of the brats to help them get crisp after they have boiled.

You can add water or beer until the liquid almost drowns the brats, especially the bottom of the brats.

Turn on the stove, at the position of heat: medium-high.

Bring the liquid in the pan to a quick simmer, but do not bring any complete cooking. A complete cooking will break the housing and divide and ensure that the brats lose their natural juices.

Reduce the heat to medium as soon as the liquid starts to boil.

Cook the brats in medium-high heat until the liquid evaporates completely, leaving only oil left


Step 9




Boil the brats in the same pan until the outside of the brats are brown. Add another teaspoon of oil when the pan appears dry and the brats start sticking to the bottom of the pan.
