Best Red Lobster Appetizers Recipe

Excuse the crumbs in the highlighted picture-I had already eaten two of these bad guys. I've only been to Red Lobster once in my life, but the infamous Cheddar Bay biscuits left their mark. A distant cousin of one of my oldest and dearest friends, the cheese scone, the Cheddar Bay cookies are to die for. Cheese? Carbohydrates to put the butter? I'm on it. However, now that I'm not eating pimples, I almost told myself out of that game ... until I found this recipe and changed my own life forever. Now I share that same gift with you.

Here's the deal: This recipe is based on coconut flour rather than standard flour. If you are worried that you might compromise the taste, you are completely wrong and can throw any doubts aside. These are just phenomenal and I'm likely to eat a whole half of a lot in a single session if I don't stop. (I leave myself, fortunately ... usually.) This is also one of the simplest recipes you can hit at any time of the day:

Here's what you'll need:

1/3 Cup coconut flour (I like coconut secret or's red mill)
1/4 Cup coconut oil
4 eggs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (strong)
1/4 teaspoon finely chopped/ground parsley (fully optional)

Note: I forgot the baking powder last time and didn't make a bit of a difference-they were so delicious. In addition, the original recipe requires 1/4 teaspoon of salt, but I have never put this on and never needed. Everyone knows I can't stand that unnecessary sodium. Also, I never use parsley, but some people like things to look at their dog, so let yourself go if that's your thing.

The method here is simple: Preheat your oven to 400f/200, combine all of your ingredients-except the cheddar-in a bowl and mix well to make sure everything is incorporated. The cheese should be mixed in last place, then put on a greased baking sheet and baked for 30 minutes. That's it! After taking them out, slathering in butter (but, you know, don't get too mad at butter) It's a great idea and will probably make you cry with how delicious they are.

The great thing about coconut flour is that it is high in fiber (40% of its recommended daily value in a portion!), low in fat, carbohydrates and calories, helps regulate blood sugar, etc. I use it in a lot of recipes, but this is probably my favorite of them all. Make these now-they are garlicky and cheesy and just so, so good.
