Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

    Ingredients:
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Loaf French bread, uncut
  • 8 Ounce brick cream cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 10 Tablespoons blueberry jam
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Shots Irish cream liqueur
Cookware:
  • Bread knife
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Frying pan
Instructions:
  1. Cut the loaf of bread in thick slices, around 1 inch thick.
  2. Cut 1/2 inch thick slices from the brick of cream cheese.
  3. Cut a slit on the side of each bread, from the crust. Place a slice of cream cheese inside the pocket.
  4. In a small bowl, Beat eggs, Irish cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Whisk them well.
  5. Over medium heat, melt butter in a frying pan. Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and cook until golden brown.
  6. Prepare with some Blueberry jam spread over them.

A few tips:
  1. You can top the stuffed french toast with almost anything. I prefer blueberry jam, but Nutella or caramel or syrup is good too.
